Saint Martin Island Bangladesh

Bangladesh Saint Martin is a small island in the northeastern Bay of Bengal. Which is located 9km south of Cox's Bazar and Teknaf Peninsula. It is an island in the southernmost part of Bangladesh. There is an adjoining island that is separated at high tide, called Chera Dwip. It is away from 8kilometers west of the northwest coast of Myanmar, at the mouth of the Naf river. It is one of the awesome tourist places in Bangladesh. Because it's natural scenery any people fascinated easily. They have many types of hotel-motel and boarding ( same as a hotel for staying night) available.

Why is St. Martin the most attractive tourist destination in
Bangladesh?
St. Martin is the only coral island in Bangladesh, in
the Chittagong Division. The locals call this small island
"Narikeljinjira" which means their coconut island which produces a
lot of coconuts here. The island is located south of the mainland on the mouth
of the Naf River.

This landmark marks the international border between Bangladesh and Myanmar. Some have named it "Cinnamon Island"
for its beautiful scenery and crystal clear blue waters around the Bay of Bengal.

Typically, tourists travel to St. Martin's Island,
Bangladesh's Pacific Beach, to refresh themselves after
enjoying Cox's Bazar. When I was there I wanted to explore this contagious
area. So, one very early morning we got on a bus and left for St. Martin's
Island Bangladesh.

Best time to visit St. Martin's Island:
Weather forecasting is a must, especially before the
off-season travelers visit the island from March to July. Cyclones can often
strike during this period. The site was finally damaged by Hurricane 1991 but
has since been fully recovered. In 2014, fortunately, it was completely touched
by the tsunami.

The island gets its best weather from November to February.
So, with the best weather, these are the main tourist seasons. From 10 a.m. the
island is full of life just as ferries are full of tourists. This is the time
when the ferries leave this place as they wander around this place till about 3
o'clock.

How to reach Saint Martin?
The only means of transportation to reach the island is by sea truck, local motorboat or tourist boat. Traveling both ways to the island is very enjoyable no matter which company you are with. I remember my great time with my kids when I boarded a ship carrying travelers to the island.

We started the bus ride very early in the morning and at the end of the 2.5-hour journey, we reached the ferry or dock where you boarded the ship. The seas that came with us during the boat ride made the journey quite enjoyable. My kids had fun having fun feeding them breakfast so they could continue the whole journey with us.

You can then get there by plane or take a bus directly from Cox’s Bazar.
Tourists will enjoy one more sea-truck travel experience with an open dock receipt. It will have the added benefit of appreciating the natural beauty of the Teknaf Hills and the excitement of the Bay of Bengal.

You can return from Teknaf in a sea-truck that leaves every morning at 8 p.m. Bilateral rent comes to Rs 450-2500 per person. It is important to remember that ships and cruises avoid the route during the off-season from May to September due to inclement weather.
